During Fall 2014, under the leadership of professor Kindon Mills, We spent the semester researching specific architecture projects that were assigned to us. I was looking into the Melnikov house. Konstantine Melnokiv is a Russian architect who designed the first private family residence in the soviet union.
My strategies included looking into the context of the city which the house occupied as well as the tectonics that guided his design decisions.
