This project is part of a 4 class series called Design Communications. For this specific project, we started by having a group class dinner in S.R Crown Hall in which we were all orthographically video taped.
After watching our videos, the project was to create an object that in one way or another changed the social quality of that dinner. which we later replicated by testing all of the group projects at the end of the semester.
Our project was a 4-way concrete pitcher that forced interaction. In order to use the pitcher to pour water, there had to be 4 people holding it due to it's heavy weight as well as 4 glasses, or in our case, we designed concrete cups, to pour the water or any liquid in. So if one person wanted to pour themselves a drink, they had to find 3 companions who were willing to hold the pitcher and drink with them at the same time.
