In the summer of 2015 I got the amazing opportunity to study abroad as part of the CORB++ program. As part of the program, we traveled to 19 cities around Europe in 27 days.
Some of the cities we visited included: Stuttgart, Zurich, Geneva, le chaux de fonds, Lausanne, Ronchamp, Nice, Nimes, Firminy, Marseille, Strasbourg, Paris, and more.
During our time in Europe, we took two courses, a history of Le Corbusier course in which we studied multiple Corb landmarks and architectural interventions and the other course was about reflective recordings. In the reflective recordings class we took inspiration from multiple site visits to produce analytical and diagrammatic sketches and photographs of how we perceived our sites.
